Coaches John Flanagan, Kevin Flanagan, and Jared Heine support and encourage the development of each swimmer in the club. They foster a strong sense of Ohana and pride by actively participating in all club functions. Their practices are innovative and reflect their dedication and enthusiasm for the swimmers.

John has won six state swim championships at Punahou School before becoming a member of the 1997 Auburn University NCAA championship men's swim team. After graduating magna cum laude with a degree in finance, John swam for gold medals in the 1998 World Championships and 1999 Pan Pacific Games.

Kevin graduated in 2000 as a two-time All American swimmer at Florida State University. Kevin won three high school swim championships while at Punahou and was a High School All American.

Jared swam for Damien Memorial High School and was named team captain his senior year. He also trained under coach John and Kevin at Kamehameha Swim Club throughout his high school years. He continued his swimming career at Florida State University in 2002 to 2005 where he specialized in the 100 and 200 backstroke, scoring points in the ACC Championships. Jared, coached by Kevin Flanagan, swam the 100m Backstroke in the 2008 Beijing Olympics for the Marshall Islands. He joined the Kamehameha Swim Club coaching staff in 2007.
